About Us
Maharishi International Academy is nestled deep in the beautiful Muskoka tourist region of Ontario, yet is just two
hours north of Toronto and four hours west of Ottawa. We have been welcoming guests to our academy, located on
450 beautiful acres by the tranquil and picturesque Lake of
Bays, since 1978.
We regularly host weekend and week-long in-residence courses for those
practicing the Transcendental Meditation (TM) or advanced TM-Sidhi
Programs.
In
colaboration with the Global Country of World Peace - Canada, we also
teach the Transcendental Meditation technique (TM), as taught by His
Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and other programs to develop the full
potential of the individual, such as: the TM-Sidhi Program, Advanced
Techniques of Transcendental Meditation, TM-Sidhi Refresher Course,
Maharishi Vedic Vibration Technology, and Maharishi Light Therapy with
Gems.
Resident course participants enjoy deep rest and profound knowledge,
large comfortable rooms with ensuite bathrooms, and superb vegetarian
cuisine.
Our academy provides a deep natural Silence that has been cultivated by
over 32 years of deep meditation by thousands from all corners of the
globe.
